Choosing Friends wisely

I've been hearing lately about young adults bulling others at school and other places. Its just a reminder of how improtant it is for us Christians to choose our friends wisely. 2 Cor. 6:14 Says be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers for what fellowship hath rightiousness with unrightiousness. If only our Children could not only apply this verse of scripture to dating or marriage but also to selecting their friends. Ephesians 5:11 and have no fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Meaning to stay away from the works of evil and darkness and to stand against them coming into their lifestyles. Ephesians 6:1 Children Obey your parents in the Lord. If our children could understand that this commandment is meant for their own good and protection and that it is the God-given responsibility of children to obey and respect their parents. 2 Timothy 1:5 Says when I (paul) call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy Grandmother Lois, and thy Mother Eunice, and I am persuaded that is in thee also. If our children could realize that there is knowledge and Discernment in mothers and Grandmothers who have gathered wisdom through the years and that they can offer good advice in life choices. We can only hold our children up before God and hope that they will see that in all things God has a answer in his word. God Bless!
